Real People Helping You Be Safer Online
Our Mission
To give individuals, families, and small businesses practical cybersecurity knowledge so they can make confident decisions online.
Our Vision
A community where everyday people feel confident and secure online.
Why We Started
Online crime is aimed at everyday people — scams, password theft, device weaknesses — and is ever increasing. Most cybersecurity services are built for corporations. That leaves a gap for the people who are targeted most: individuals, families, seniors, and small business owners. SafeCyber Living exists to close that gap.

Meet the Team
Tony Higgins — Founder and Chief Cyber Coach
I’ve always had a bit of a superhero complex. Becoming a cybersecurity professional gave me the chance to help people and organizations stay ahead of the digital bad guys — but that kind of help usually goes to big businesses with the budget for it. Individuals, families, and small businesses are left to fend for themselves.
Technology and creativity have always been my two passions, but teaching is what I love most. Over eight years in cybersecurity — including a Master’s in Cybersecurity & Leadership from the University of Washington, a CISSP, and a CISM — I’ve taught multimedia design, led workshops, built training curricula, and helped clients, coworkers, and friends understand technology one simple explanation at a time.
SafeCyber Living is where all of that comes together: the superhero complex, the love of teaching, and years of experience transformed into practical cybersecurity guidance for individuals, families, and small businesses — explained in language that actually makes sense. My goal isn’t to make cybersecurity sound complicated. It’s to earn trust by helping people understand it, so confident decisions can be made.
Ron Higgins — InfoSec Manager and Master Coach
I’ve worked in cybersecurity for 8+ years, and in 2026 I earned a master’s degree in Cybersecurity & Leadership from the University of Washington. I’ve been told I have a gift for patient, clear explanations — maybe from my 10 years in the Navy. As SafeCyber Living’s InfoSec Manager, I design our security checkups and our plain-language approach. As Master Coach, I work with clients wherever they’re starting from — whether they’re brand new to all this or already fairly comfortable online — turning security concepts into clear, manageable steps.
I believe cybersecurity should be calm and practical, never overwhelming. I’m passionate about helping everyday people and small businesses protect what matters — without the tech jargon, and without the fear.
When I’m not helping clients get a better handle on their passwords, I’m gaming, reading, keeping an eye on new cybersecurity threats, and working on other creative ventures.
Ayrn Melbu — Administrative Assistant and Coach
I’m almost always online — doing research, handling the administrative work that helps build SafeCyber Living, and enjoying one of my favorite hobbies, video gaming. I spend a lot of time in the same online spaces most people do: browsing, messaging, scrolling.
So it bothers me when I hear about someone being scammed or tricked into something that could have easily been prevented. Online safety shouldn’t feel intimidating or overly technical — it should feel like something anyone can understand and use. SafeCyber Living gives me the chance to help the people who need that kind of guidance.
